In the not-so-far future the polar ice caps have melted and the resulting raise of the ocean waters has drowned all the coastal cities of the world. Withdrawn to the interior of the continents, the human race keeps advancing, reaching to the point of creating realistic robots (called mechas) to serve him. One of the mecha-producing companies builds David, an artificial kid which is the first to have real feelings, especially a never-ending love for his "mother", Monica. Monica is the woman who adopted him as a substitute for her real son, who remains in cryo-stasis, stricken by an incurable disease. David is living happily with Monica and her husband, but when their real son returns home after a cure is discovered, his life changes dramatically. A futuristic adaptation of the tale of Pinocchio, with David being the "fake" boy who desperately wants to become "real". Send you opinion on the film we watched in class.

The future is here right now. This picture shows the view of a group of human beings that imagine a technological world in which men and women live with robots that have the characteristics of a normal human. This film predicts a real world because now a days the Toyota and Honda Companies had created an elementary robot that do our activities. I think that in a few years we will almost probably have in our houses a “Robotina” serving us and do all basic functions: computer kitchen and our servants will be replace by a big intelligent computer
My opinion about the moovie "artificial intelligence"
I think that the moovie is very sweet, specialy the end...
I can't belive that a robot could have feelings, I think that the emotions that David (the Mecha boy) felt was only a programated reaction for determinated situations because "his fellings" was exaggerated and very false.
About the realization of the fil, the special effects were very good, the music, picture and the scenes had good construction.
The dialogues was very sweet too.
Personaly, I don't think in that kind of future for the humanity, althougt... We don't know
Hi!!
It's my opinion:
I think Artificial Intelligence it's a good film.
I liked the idea about an easier life, but I didn't like a life as cruel as the film one.
I believe society now is very similar to David's one, because many persons are only interested in tecnology advances and forget the importance of every person.
Other interesting thing is te abscence of animals in David's word. They have many machines but no animals; well Teddy exist but it isn't an animal. I think that thing isn't good because we need animals and plants to live better in this planet.
Finaly, the cruelty of society in AI is similar to our society because many persons can't accept the diferent thing or ideologies and they adopt an actitud similar to the fair's personsone (the ones of the movie).
I liked the film but it's very sad that a robot has much more emotions and feels that humans.
Hi class!!!
A.I.
I think the movie was very good, I liked it a lot, because it talked about futurein a different way from other movies, because it mentioned a future with developed robots where they began to have feeling like humans. But they didn't hate humans in spite of the fact that people used them and sometimes they were cruel with robots. I believe the movie wanted to give us a hope.
I think the movie showed a future with advanced technology.
I liked the end. It was beautiful, because David got what he wanted.
See you tomorrow...
... have a nice day!!!!!
Hi everybody!!!
For me, the movie is so interesting, amazing and wonderful, because you can have an idea of the future and the way people will almost probably live their future lifes. But I think we are fortunate to live in this age, at this moment; because in the past, people thought we are the luckiest generation ever lived before, because we have developed technology and we have more advantanges than their technology.
In conclusion, we are here in this century, in this world, in this country; because we have a mission in our lives.
Take care, and see u tomorrow!!!
CiAo!!!
Hi everybody!
In my opinion his film shows two characteristics of humane nature.
On one hand, it shows the capacity to feel and to love as a condition that makes us more special than other beings.
However, the film also shows the human desire to be better each time, without considering the consequences. In the same way that Dr. Frankestein created his being, in the film the humanes make robots that can feel, and it was same way in wich people rejected. These future people destroyed the robots just because they are different.

I think the movie has a clear message about human life, because most of us have been losing the good feelings and we don’t care about the other people think. In the movie we can see in a fiction science way the main point that gives us a lot to think about.
Is very difficult to imagine an artificial world with its own intelligence, but from my perspective this is happening, not the huge dimensions as the movie but we can become to those things.
This is a good movie with good story and good acting. We have to built our destiny watching the far future and in one moment thinking about what world we want to leave to our children.
See you! LEO
i liked a lot the movie we saw. I think it is very interesting and amotional, also it's a futuristic movie.
I fell in love with David, because he shows us that any person -in this case robot =P- can love another for many times, even if the other hurts you.
Also, he has pure love, something taht in our days is decreasing...
oops!
Sorry teacher I was wrong, 'Yo' are me.
I can't make a good comment because I didn´t see all the movie, so I can only say a few things about it.
I think that the robots definitely won't be better than humans ever in life because the robots were created by humans.
Humans can create robots because they have natural intelligence different form the robots that have artificial intelligence and it was created by humans.
I like the movie, because I think it’s a picture or a reflection about the power of the human. Technological revolution had got a new form to create things, to make life easier, but humans don’t think it’s risky to forget about nature and about the cycles in the human life.
Technology is a great tool for Medicine, school, Management or any other science. For me the movie shows the feelings never have to be copied, I think that a computer or a robot will never be able to feel or act led by those feelings. In this case the little boy feels but he wasn’t a real son or daughter. So, I think that if the human forgets the importance of the feelings the human nature will be lost.
I couldn’t see the end of the movie, but this is my view of the movie, the message that I was able to see. I don’t know if it’s correct or not.
¿What do you think?
I like this movie even though it is so sad. This movie talks about David's life. He is a robot and he has real feelings. He can even love someone but your doesn't love him back because he isn't a real boy during the story he looks for blue fairy because she will convert him into a real boy.
I recomend it because it makes you reflect and it's entertainig.
XD
Hi... =)
I think this movie is amaizing. I really recommend it because you can see a point of view about our future in which we have alot of different kinds of robots. But a new one, called David, who can have fellings.
I know I will certaintly watch another movie about the future and our destiny, but I think this is special... well you should see it. and then you will probably have a a great opinion of AI.
Ok bye =)
