Well, I'm going to answer the same question...
Of course I wouldn't do that.
I think it isn't is honestly; and if our boss arrived, or there is a security camera, he would fire me or my friend, and we could loose our jobs.
Although, some day If I had the necessity to leave early, I would talk to my boss for his permission.
In conclusion, we have to give an affair priority to our responsabilities and what is the most honestly way to live.

OF COURSE YES, IF MY FRIEND ASKS ME YO DO THAT FOR HER, I'M SURE I WILL DO IT BECAUSE SHE'S ASKING ME FOR A FAVOR, BUT ONLY A FEW TIMES BECAUSE IF SHE WANTS MORE AND MORE FAVORS LIKE THAT WITHOUT A REAL JUSTIFICATION I WILL CERTAINLY NOT DO THEM.

well I don't know if I don't serch good, but I only find the same question that you ansewered yesterday and today at class. Anyway I check other activities and are very interesting, I think that particularly "the way that Canadians spend their money", because they don't spend their money at the same way than us.
About the cuestion: "a friend of yours at work wants to leave early. She asks you to punch her time card for her. Do you do it?, Why or why not?"
I think it's a complicated situation, however would I do if the trouble of my partner as required and I could be confident that she will support me in another time when I need it.

I took a question of the day that is the same that the others took it:
"A friend of yours at work wants to leave early. She asks you to punch her time card for her. Do you do it? Why or why not?"
If a friend of my job asked about this favor, and she is a good friend for me, I do it. Because maybe one day I would need a similar favor and she could do it for me.
And if she only is a comrade of my job, first I need to know: what the reason is because she wants to go early? If she had a good reason maybe I do the favor and try that this favor wouldn’t repeat again, it could be dangerous if my boss catch me when I punch her time card for her.

I will probably punch her time card, because she is my friend and maybe if some day I want to leave early she could check my time card.
In matter of fact I have done it once in my last work
I think is the same question for everybody
I wouldn’t do it, because I think that in a job you have to be very responsible about your acts. If the girl wanted to leave early the work she should to talk with the boss, and in a given case if someone discovered us we can have some problems.
That’s why I wouldn’t do that.

well, I would do the favor to my workmate.
I've been reading the comments and I'm agree with the people who says that you have a responsibility at your work, but maybe you could have an emergency and your boss didn't give you the permission to leave or something like that and of course I would punch her time card.
Maybe one time I would need the same favor.
Also, ocasionally, you need an early leaving...

First because maybe I need the same favor and if I did it for her, I have confidence to tell her. And the second reason is not difficult to punch her time card for her and, if she is my friend I don’t have problem to do a favor. The only case when I don’t do the favor is because this action damages or puts in danger my job, for example if I punch her time card and probably my boss could see me not necessary my boss but a person who tell to my boss that I punch other time card and its not mine. But only in that case I didn’t do the favor or I will think for do.
In conclusion I punch her time card while my job doesn’t put in damage.

If I had work some day and one of my workmale asked me to punch her time card, I certainly would do it, specially if she is one of my friends. But if the male that needed my help is one of my bad enemies, I would say 'Yes,no problem. I will punch your time card' and after she calmly goes out, I definitely wouldn't punch her time card and. On the contrary, if I desired that she was dismissed, I would say to the boss about her asking and 'bye bye my dear bad male'...

The answer to the question is: yes.
If my friend is in a hurry I would help her, because it might be an emergency.
Also I would help her, because if I am envolved in a trouble, my firend ( if she really is my firend) would find the way for help me.
I don´t think is a dangerous favor to do, it´s just to punch her time card and that´s all.

If a person, who wanted to be absent or wanted to get out early, asked me to pass her card, I would help her with the condition that in the following week after the one she was absent she would be my servant: she would bring my food, or something like this If this person were my friend, I would do it without having a reason because I think that when you have a solid friendship you do all things for your friend, but obviously, that relation has limit for example, If my best friend in this case, asked me to pass her card all the week I would think two things: or she is very lazy or she had problems. If she had I would help her or maybe If her problem is bigger and I couldn’t help her, I would only lend her my shoulder as a bed with the purpose that she feels free to cry and cry.
HELLO! HERE´S MY OPINION ABOUT THE QUESTION!
If one of my friends ask me to punch her time card, I wouldn´t did it, because I think each one have own responsibilities and if I acceded once probably I would have to do it many times.
As another point, supposing, she is asking me just because she wants to leave early not because a necessity like a trouble, an accident or a urgency. I think this is the problem with many people, especially here in México they only want to leave work places because of their weakness and not for urgency.

I think I do it, because if she ask me to do this favour, maybe she has a problem or another important thing to do this day; and probably she makes me this favour when I can´t leave early to punch my time card. But in other case, if she ask me to punch her time card for her one by one and that´s not the first time, of course I say no.
Definitively, I would do because I kknow that in every day i would need the same favour and I'll need anyone to do it for me.
Obvious, only if is my best jobs friend, because I won't do favors for anyone who I don't know if made the same for me.
But, like Karina says, Is best talk with the boss to don't risk our job

I think that punch a time card for another person involves alot of things and I definitely won´t do it, only if she have an important razon.
I definitely won´t do it because I think that she shut talk with the boss and explain her situation, because if that is really important he let her go early, but in some cases something wrong happend with the people and they are so bad that don´t care any razon… in that case, and if she is really my friend and have a transcendental argument, then I will definitely do it.
The way you act at work is very important, but the friendship too... so I will do what my conscience dictates to me at that time. Maeby this sounds wear but is just what I think.
