Things of Importance: Guessing Time!

Dear students,
It’s really nice getting to know a little bit more about each of you by reading about your special objects and about the stories behind them. This entry is for you to guess what your peers’ objects are. Read the descriptions, think about your answer and send your guesses to this entry. Make sure you make comments on your peers' descriptions or stories behind their objects. Also, indicate both, the author and your guess.Feel free to read and guess as many objects as you want. To read everybody’s descriptions in our virtual class follow the instructions below:
1. Access the link below
http://poster.4teachers.org/
2. Look for the bottom window "Search for Posters and Worksheets"
3. Press the arrow where it says "Poster ID" and select "Class Code"
4. Once there, insert the class code 173589 and that's it!

Let’s get started and have fun!

Welcome to your English Course

Dear students,
Welcome to your English class blog! I have been using blogs in my English classes as an extension of our classroom teaching. Blogs have become an important space to listen to each other. Large classes make it sometimes difficult for everyone to have a chance to express him/herself. So, let’s take advantage of this blog as an space to say all we did not have time to say in class, to express opinions and to share views. Participation in this blog is another way of participation, another way of using your English and a way to expose yourself to the target language. Remember 90% of your learning depends on yourself rather than on your teacher or on the few hours a week you come to class.
I’m eager to hear from you!
